JWM-MN02 Jewish Star Necklace

The pattern for this star necklace was taken from a Hanukkah lamp created at the famed Bezadel School of Arts and Crafts in Jerusalem, circa 1908-29. The lamp pictured is patterned by silver filigree in Yemenite style and is accented by turquoise and carnelian. Founded by Boris Schatz in 1906, the school’s mission was to create a new Jewish style and provide income for Jewish artisans. Created in conjunction with the Jewish Museum, New York, each item in this collection includes a curatorial card.
