The All the World's A Stage collection is inspired by the red and gold silk opera house curtain at The Kennedy Center, which was donated by the people of Japan to honor John F. Kennedy's dedication to expanding culture in the nation's capital. The Japanese symbol of procress is shown in a repeat pattern along the weave, which was created by building the world's largest custom Jacquard weaving machine. The curtain weighs 3,000 lbs and measures 47 feet wide by 117 feet in length. Each item in the collection includes a curatorial card. The All the Wold's A Stage Collection was created in conjunction with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington, D.C.
