Cenyc

The Eco Secret Garden, Go Green, and I Love Green collections are made using 80% recycled sterling silver. By melting the silver in previous collections and creating something new with recycled silver, organic motifs and attention to detail abound in a beautiful, socially aware collection. A portion of the proceeds from the purchase of each piece is donated back to the Council on the Environment of New York City (CENYC), for their “Learn It, Grow It, Eat It” (LGE) program. LGE works with high school students to help them make the connection between food, health and the environment. Students grow their own food in community gardens, sell produce at a youth-run farmers market and educate peers and community members about healthy eating. Along the way, the teens develop skills in leadership, team-building and teaching and enter adulthood with a better sense of themselves and the natural world around them.

AEACP the trunk show

The Asian Elephant Art Conservation Project, also known as AEACP, is a 501(c) 3 charity organization dedicated to saving the diminishing number of Asian Elephants left on our planet through work with domesticated elephants. Cynthia and Glenn Gale visited Borobadur in Yogyakarta, Indonesia with their children during a jewelry production trip and rode the elephants there. Upon learning of the plight of the Asian elephant via AEACP back in New York, they decided to support the charity. AEACP promotes and sells paintings created by Asian elephants and elephant painted dresses as a way to raise funds for and increase public awareness of the plight of Asian Elephants. GeoArt by Cynthia Gale donates to AEACP trunk fashion shows and regularly comes out to support their fundraising events in New York City.

LM LIM College

In her first job out of college, Cynthia Gale met Pam Linton in New York City. They reconnected twelve years later at an industry event where Cynthia learned that Pam was a longtime member of the LIM College staff. Today, GeoArt by Cynthia Gale hosts LIM Field Trip Classes where students tour the Showroom/Gallery to get an overview of the wholesale designer jewelry business. Additionally every spring, summer and fall, GeoArt hosts a full-time internship program. Fulfilling their LIM Senior Co-Op, interns get hands-on-experience in the sales and marketing department, learn the administrative side of jewelry wholesale, work jewelry trade shows and gain experience that will leave them fully prepared to enter the competitive accessories industry.
